Job Objective

Independently monitors and controls accounts receivable of third party payers.


Key Responsibilities

Medical billing to Third Party Payers

Follow-up on Aging Third Party Billing

Reviews daily registration, referral, charges and coding requirements to payer areas of responsibilities

Communicates and resolves issues with internal and external customers

Self-pay collections

Participates in various cross-training (e.g. Patient Registration)

Accurately documents all activity on patient's accounts



Requirements
Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent

AAS in Business or Accounting preferred

Prior billing experience in the medical field

Excellent patient/public relations and communication skills

Office equipment experience is mandatory

Insurance and self-pay collection knowledge

Organizational skills
