Description
Main Function: Provides high quality diagnostic cardiology testing to patients referred by physicians. Assists Cardiologist, Nurse Practioners, and Physician Assistants perform exercise/pharm-logical testing. Responsible for EKG Management and operations
of the TraceMasterVue System. Performs diagnostic exercise stress testing, Holter monitoring, Event Recording, Tilt Table testing, and EKG's on patients as required.

Required Job Specific Competencies: Demonstrates skill in and knowledge of all diagnostic cardiology procedures. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments. Demonstrates the ability
to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, physicians, family, staff, and visitors. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. Demonstrates
the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate care and diagnostic testing to the age of the patient.

Requirements
Qualifications:

oBLS

oALCS, Arrhythmia training and CCT Certification within 1 year of hire!

oCertified Cardiology Technician

Education:

oRequired: High School Diploma

oPreferred: AS, BS, and graduation from approved Health Care related field

oExcellent computer skills


Experience:

oRequired: Working with people with excellent customer service skills.

oPreferred: Experience in healthcare.


Complexity of Duties:

oAbility to work independently, using good clinical judgment and decision making to insure the safety of our patient.

oAbility to be resourceful & perform the planning required as determined by the complexity of procedures and clinical situations involved.
