Allworx Manufacture Tech Support-Specialist III

*Job Overview*

Manufacture Technical Support for the company's family of integrated VOIP solutions; this can include VOIP servers, Phones, Switches, Android / iPhone applications, PC applications and client hardware configurations. Primarily providing support to our Certified Technicians that install and support our products and services.
* Process a broad field of subjects related to our products and service for input and logically deduce issues and apply adequate solutions in a timely fashion.
* Possess a comprehensive technical knowledge of PBX / Hybrid phone system, analog / digital service delivery, VOIP SIP services, IP networking and Data service provisioning.
* Provide exceptional customer / technical service on inbound technician calls.
* Must be highly motivated as a technical agent and liaison for the Allworx products with potential on the fly research of 3rd party products/ services.
* Work with development engineers of our product, re-sellers and other team members on solutions.
* Read and understand SIP messaging and Wireshark style packet captures.

* Experience troubleshooting and correcting Jitter, Latency, Packet loss across public or enterprise networks using network analysis tools.
* Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems.
* Strong understanding of Ethernet, TCP/IP routing, Network packet analysis tools use and configuration.
* Working knowledge of Telecom, data networking, analog and digital voice technologies (T1/PRI).
* Must understand VoIP technologies, including Protocols, Codec's, QoS, RTP streams, MPLS Networks.
* Experience migrating customer web hosting and email along with SMTP/POP3
* Must be team oriented
*Minimum Requirements:*
High School diploma and three plus years of experience in a technical/telephony
environment or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
